Assuming you have an idea of what you would like to work on, lets skip the fluff and jump right in..!
Step 1
Daily Practice (10 Min)
This is an important element of your success no matter where you are on your journey.
10 minutes a day sets a good mental mind state because it means that you at least engage in your craft once a day. This helps to build momentum by keeping your mind processing whatever you are working on.
This part is meant to be fun. Engage in your craft in the way you enjoy most!
Step 2
Learn one new thing about your industry.. Daily.
Always seek be smarter than you were yesterday.
Once you have made the habit of daily practice. It is time to add step 2.
Start by buying a notebook specifically designated for learning. Each day, seek to learn at least 1 new thing about your industry. Document this learning in your notebook.
This does not need to take more than 5 minutes!
A few useful research topics to get you started -
1. Leaders in your industry
2. Credentials desired
3. Books written about your craft
4. Youtube videos
5. Typical path taken by those who have been successful in your industry (Potential Business Plan)
6. Anything that YOU find interesting - Always seek to follow your own interest and inspiration
Step 3
Creating Physical Content
Now that you have decent knowledge about your industry, it is time to start creating content.
Content creation is the single most important element in the progression of your craft!
Your content creation can be something simple like a blog post or a short video. Or you can be working on a larger piece and adding something of physical value to it each day.
A simple goal for this is 10 minutes a day of creating tangible content that you can send someone to if they want more info on whatever it is you are working on.
