Receiving Advice is a Skill
Non-Egalitarian Filter
When navigating your life, it is very important to be aware of whose advice you are taking. There are many people who will tell you things that will lead your life down a different path than the one you want for your life. Like wise, if you take advice from those who truly know what they are talking about you will be on the fast track to a great life.
“He who walks with the wise, becomes wise himself.” – Tim Storey
(You can guess the opposite of that quote.)
Who are you walking with?
In the end of this video, Tai Lopez (one of my entrepreneurial coaches), uses the phrase: Non-Egalitarian Filter to describe the process you should be using to determine whose advice to take… And maybe more importantly whose advice NOT to take.
